I have always hid behind big hair. Or at least I’ve always tried. It’s always easier to feel pretty when you’ve got big, glamorous, fabulous hair with ridiculous amounts of volume – more feminine, and your face always looks tiny in comparison.
There is, however, something SO edgy about a super straight, slicked back do. I’ve gotten inspiration from celebrities to music to the runway and editorials – whether it’s played up with lots of makeup or played down with a beachy, summery glow – it’s still so simple yet dramatic.
For this shoot I’m wearing a vintage blazer, Maison Martin Margiela sweatpants, Bakers heels and an H&M bustier. Special thanks to Melissa Bee for the amazing makeup!
