Denim denim denim denim. A necessary evil in my book. Love/hate relationship. If I had a choice I would probably wear a skirt/shorts/leggings every other day of my life, BUT…
there is absolutely NOTHING like a solid pair of denim jeans. There is nothing else that will make you look effortless chic – NOTHING.
That is why I need to stop being a lazy ars and start investing in some real denim.
The reason I have been so denim-resistant in my past is because of fit. Not all jeans fit alike. There’s no such thing as one size. It’s just tough to find a pair that flatter and fit just right. Thanks to these David Kahn tribal print jeans, my curves are hugged in a glorious way. I swear I could do squats in these and there’d be no muffin-topping, belt-loop ripping. They have the perfect amount of stretch to feel comfy when you’re sitting down, but enough structure to keep its boot-cut, slight bellbottom shape.
AND how amazing is this pink top? It’s from the folks over at LES Vintage. It’s got a great sheer back with classic crew neck. Total minimal chic. The fishtail will add a fab flair when paired with denim, shorts, or even leggings.
My bangs were bothering, so I threw a scarf on my head. Stolen from mom’s closet. ;)
